Edgewater Connections have worked on a number of streetscape upgrade works with City of Ryde council including Railway Parade Meadowbank.
Edgewater Connections engagement included electrical services design to establish new private street lighting and ASP Level 3 design to maintain customer service connections to enhance the amenity of the area including:
- Asset relocation to underground the existing overhead LV conductors and property services connections
- New conduit and LV pillar installations for Ausgrid LV distribution connection and underground services connections
- Multifunction pole private street and public domain lighting installation including council distribution board and multifunction pole conduit installation
Edgewater Connections coordinated the design of the new assets with the City of Ryde project manager, landscape architect and civil engineer and enjoyed a comfortable association with the council personnel during the delivery of the design services through construction to completion of works.
Edgewater Connections consulted with the community to provide a suitable location for the new electrical services connections which presented some difficulty as the small shop frontages did not have generous space available for provision of a pillar and the service conduit required to run up the external wall to the existing overhead connection points. Edgewater Connections were able to communicate effectively with the tenants and property owners to secure a suitable solution for the existing services connections.
