We are currently seeking to fill a role of Senior Engineer / Team Leader to work in our growing private electrical distribution design team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with building services and private electrical distribution networks, obtained through hands on experience, looking to join our consulting design team.
The role is a Senior Electrical Engineer / Team leader whose duties would include:
- Management of design and documentation of electrical distribution designs, produced individually or within a team.
- Support and mentoring of less experienced engineers
- Review of electrical designs and advice to engineers,
- Site visits and electrical audits
- Client support, advice and reporting
The role will allow opportunity for management of a team within 3 – 6 months of commencement, depending on suitability of the candidate.
To be considered for this position it is essential that you have:
- A current electrical qualification,
- Working knowledge of Australian Standards,
- Working knowledge of NSW Services and Installation Rules,
- Computer literacy,
- Current drivers licence,
- Desire to work in an office environment.
Highly desirable experience or qualifications includes:
- Electrical Engineering Diploma, Degree or currently studying to obtain.
- Knowledge of ASP Level 2 procedures and Authority requirements,
- Previous experience as a Supervisor or Project Manager,
- Electrical Contractor background working on new and existing industrial developments,
- Experience training/mentoring other employees.
